Chaplains in the workplace will build relationships by assisting employees and their families with integrity, honesty, respect, confidentiality, and professionalism expressing Christ’s compassion and love.

* As the creator of the Universe, God has assigned man to work in partnership with Him to manifest His Kingdom on earth.
* Business is an opportunity to manifest God's Kingdom through a work environment that models Kingdom values and princles including servant leadership
* Kindom businesses can increase the production and effectiveness of their business as a result of the positive impact on those who work for a Kingdom Company
*Workplace Chaplains serve as the ministry model of the tangible reality of God's Kingdom as servant leaders who offer expressions of Christ's love.

Core Faith Beliefs of the Ministry

* The Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God, sufficient to minister to all of life's issues and challenges.
* There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
* These are the truths related to Jesus Christ - in the diety of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, His assention to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
* Jesus Christ is the "... way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6) and all believers are spiritually united in Jesus Christ.
* For the salvation of the lost and sinful people, regenerated by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and the the present indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a godly life.
* The resurrection of both the saved and the lost occur - the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Dr. Deborah L. Gunderman - Bio

Dr. Deborah L. Gunderman, D.Min. is the Founder, President, and Chaplain of Walking in the Way, Inc., a Workplace Ministry. This ministry provides chaplain services to the employees and owners of businesses in the Albuquerque and New Mexico area. It also offers Biblical counseling and seminars on work and personal life issues.

Dr. Deb is an Ordained Chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC) and a Certified Community Chaplain with Community Chaplains of America. She has over 30 years of business experience as a human resource consultant, trainer, facilitator, and social worker. She has assisted people during times of workplace/career transitions, health challenges, relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, single living, parenting, finances, elder care, and more. Dr. Deb is an author, speaker, and seminar facilitator. She received her BA in Social Work from the University of Iowa, a MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, NM.
